Let the travels begin!: Tasmania

We just got back from our week (5 days) in Tasmania and loved it!! We did a guided tour of the east coast from Launceston to Hobart (in case you want to look it up on a map) and here are some of the photos from our journeys:

we forgot day packs so we used the top of our backpacks as fannypacks...soo stylish

port arthur, just outside of Hobart...this was a prison and, yes it used to look like that. not a bad place to be imprisioned

Tasmania is gorgeous. I guess we'll save it for a future trip. Glad that you're having fun and that your friends are helping you avoid homelessness in between your travels. Have fun traveling up the coast, and keep the blogs coming. Love, Mom

Way cool photos - keep living it up for us. I'm not so sure about that grad school suggestion, Elise! What if Laura meets a manly mate down there?! Those animals are very cool. See you in a month! Love, Dad
